in 1974; it is located at Abbiategrasso, 20 Km. far from Milan. The
founder, who was a member of a family which from generation to generation
had been working in the GOLDBEATER field, decided to manufacture the
METAL LEAF on his own and began producing the material, having as his
main target to obtain the best possible quality.
The result of his policy and the actual distinguished superior quality of the
product brought CM MASSERINI to achieve an important part of the world market
in the IMITATION GOLD AND SILVER LEAF (dutch metal, schlagmetall) and GILDING
ACCESSORIES.
Since the start the production procedures and technologies have been costantly
developing, but the careful attention to quality has never lessened.

COMPOSITION LEAF, METAL LEAF, ALUMINUM LEAF continue to be appreciated throughout
the world as, notwithstanding the introduction of automation in the process,
the final selection is still made by hand; that's the only way to meet the customer's
requirements owing to an estremely strict control quality.
